Introduction to Computers is a 13 week course used to improve and develop student's word processing, powerpoint, computer knowledge, and keyboarding skills using Microsoft Office software. Students work through job lessons at their own pace and complete projects through out the course. This class is designed to teach students the keyboard while develop speed and accuracy. All students are urged to take this course in order to obtain the necessary computer and keyboarding skills needed in today's world.

Computer Applications -It's not just a question of being able to operate a computer, but rather being able to use it to organize information, communicate, research and solve problems.

Students will learn to design projects such as, newsletters, brochures, letter heads, greeting cards, family scrapbooks, and personal budgets that are informative and appealing.   Publishing, power point, drawing, and animation software will be utilized to enhance their computer skills.   Students will become confident in using scanners, cameras, video, and sound clips.   A website on a topic of their choice will be part of the final project.

Broadcast Jouralism

Computer Skills is a semester course used to improve and develop student's word processing and spreadsheet skills using Open Office software.   Students work through job packets similar to a work based environment. This class is designed to teach students the keyboard and develop speed and accuracy.  All students are urged to take this course in order to obtain the necessary computer and keyboarding skills needed in today's world.
