  • Are the 2 BMI calculations the same or different?  How different were the numbers?  Why are they different?
  • What was the difference between the 2 sites methods to calculate BMI?
  • Is your BMI accurate for yourself?  Specifically, why or why not?

BMI Categories:

  • Underweight = <18.5
  • Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
  • Overweight = 25–29.9
  • Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
